Jamaica Grand Lido Braco (Carine + Danny)
Location:
Grand Lido Braco is situated on the North Coast of Jamaica in Trelawny, one mile west of the quaint little town of Rio Bueno. It is 32 miles east of Montego Bay and approximately 1 hour by car from the Montego Bay airport.
Grand Lido Braco is a luxury all-inclusive resort catering to adult couples and singles 16 years and over. All accommodations, meals, premium brand drinks, wine with all meals, snacks, champagne, land & watersports with instruction, and entertainment are included.
Au Naturel :
A self-contained separate part to the west of the hotel is reserved for naturists. It has 52 suites in 2 buildings, all supporting facilities and, of course, a naturist beach.
Accommodations:
- Royal Gardenview & Beachfront - All have large room with either king-size bed or two twin beds, bathroom and balcony or patio.
- One Bedroom Oceanview Suites - All have large bedroom with king-size bed, separate living room, 1 1/2 bathrooms and a private patio or gazebo with direct view of the ocean.
- Au Naturel Junior Beachfront Suites - Large room with one king-size or two twin beds, bathroom and a balcony or patio.
- Au Naturel One Bedroom Beachfront Suites - Large bedroom with one king-size bed, s eparate living room, 1 1/2 bathrooms and a private patio or gazebo.
- Au Naturel Luxury One Bedroom Beachfront Suites - Large bedroom with one king-size bed, separate living room, 2 full bathrooms and a private patio or gazebo.
Dining:
Breakfast and lunch are served a fresco at Victoria Market, the buffet sytle restaurant. For a variety of dining experiences to suit every appetite, other options are available:
- Stir Crazy offers innovative Japanese fare in a casually elegant atmosphere.
- Piacere, for Nouvelle cuisine in a more formal setting. Dinner only. Jackets and reservations are required.
- La Pasta, a casual sidewalk cafe, serves Italian favorites late into the evening
- Nanny's Jerk Pit offers an authentic taste of Jamaica, serving traditional Jamaican favorites. Casual, no reservations required.
Club Houses:
There is a separate and private 24-hour clubhouse with bar for guests in the Au Naturel area. The Au Naturel area also has a snack bar.
Bar Service:
All bars are stocked with premium International and local brands of liquors. The Club House bars are open 24 hours a day.
Activities:
- Watersports: Windsurfing, sunfish sailing, kayaks, water skiing, snorkeling, with instruction, are included. Scuba diving; daily dives for beginners. A resort course is also included. International PADI certification is available at an additional cost.
- Landsports: Beach volleyball, soccer, basketball, billiards, table tennis
- Tennis: There are 3 tennis courts, lit for night play. Tennis tournaments and lessons are arranged by resident tennis professionals.
- Golf: Unlimited play including green fees on 9-hole executive course; complimentary green fees and transportation to SuperClubs' private 18-hole PGA-quality golf course at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort.
- Beach/Pools/Jacuzzis: There are 2 pools. A main pool is located between the main beach and terrace. The other pool is located on the nude beach. There are 3 Jacuzzis. One is clothing-optional overlooking the beach, another is adjacent to the main pool and one is located at each of 3 Club Houses.
- Fitness Center: Lifecycle, Stairmaster, Nautilus, Universal equipment and free weights are located in the Fitness Center. An instructor is also available for aerobics classes and assistance with machines
